I believe you didn’t land here by accident. You’re here because something inside you is ready for transformation.
My own transformation began at 31, when I was forced to take medical leave after work-related stress began to affect my health. That pause became a divine pivot, a wake-up call that there had to be more to life than simply working to survive.
Coaching and inspiring others had always come naturally to me, but in that season, I realized it wasn’t just something I was good at it was my calling. What started as a passion project has grown into my mission: to Educate, Elevate, and Equip others to lead with clarity, walk boldly in purpose, and create a life that reflects their divine design.
After a 12-year, faith-filled journey to earn my doctorate, I now use that experience the lessons, the resilience, the breakthroughs to help others transform their stories too.

Meet Dr. Alexis Ranay Jenkins
I’m the CEO of Dream Forward Coaching DBA of Alexis Ranay LLC and the Founder of Youth Dreamers Inc. But beyond the titles, I’m a woman who believes deeply in purpose, people, and the power of transformation.
My students and clients know me as Dr. J the coach who challenges you to think bigger, lead with heart, and trust the vision God placed inside you. I’m a transformational entrepreneur, certified professional coach (CPC), leadership consultant, adjunct professor, and speaker, but at my core, I’m simply passionate about helping others live with clarity, confidence, and conviction.
For over a decade, I’ve worked in higher education, nonprofit leadership, and organizational strategy building programs, teams, and leaders who are ready to walk in purpose. My mission is simple: to help you turn clarity into calling and purpose into action, one bold step at a time.
After realizing it was time to take a brave leap and transition out of my full-time role, I discovered that my true calling was helping others unlock theirs. That moment of clarity became the foundation of Dream Forward Coaching where transformation meets strategy and purpose leads every step forward.
I believe lasting transformation begins from the inside out. Through intentional strategy, alignment, and empowerment, I help individuals and organizations gain the clarity and confidence to move boldly toward their next chapter.
With an Ed.D. in Higher Education, an M.S.Ed. In Student Affairs and College Counseling, a B.A. in Mathematics, and certification as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), I bring a unique blend of lived experience, academic depth, and real-world leadership to every space I enter.
My passion for women in executive leadership, leadership development, retention, academic achievement, and faith-based practices shapes my work daily. Whether I’m partnering with schools, corporations, or nonprofit and faith-based organizations, my goal is simple: to create systemic change, inclusive environments, and sustainable impact.
